The brief for this house was to create a small scale single level home which would be low energy and conscientious in material choices. The house replaced a 1950's bungalow and the frontage had to remain restrained and follow to some degree the massing and form of other properties on the street.

This home features a sedum roof, solar panels, high levels of insulation and a rain water harvesting tank. Homes for bats and swifts are also incorporated into the brickwork. Not your average bungalow..
