Working with the natural contours of the site and with a portion of the ground floor built into the hill, this house makes the most of its setting. The design has incorporated stone walls and a chimney from an existing barn to create a private outdoor courtyard space and a natural entrance to the new house. 

There has been a focus in achieving quality views in several directions and drawing in as much natural light as possible into the house.
